Eva 2.0 Theme Songs

I just got something from 2ch:

全てCD化未定

If it’s true, so the main theme is still “Beautiful World”, WTH? I want new song, Eva is big so we don’t need re-arranged version. Damn, I want more Hikki’s music.

She talked about finishing her new Japanese single months ago on her blog and I’m sure it isn’t the recycling “9-sai no Omoide”. I like “Beautiful World” but I don’t like the idea about an acoustic version to be the next theme or they are playing like n versions of “Fly Me to the Moon” as the anime’s endings. So it will be the worst case for me and we will have n versions of “Beautiful World” to be the ending theme for the next 3.0 and Final.

The insert songs are:
- “365-ho no March” (３６５歩のマーチ; The March of 365 Steps) by Maaya Sakamoto. That the only good point for me, seems like a promising title.
- “Kyou no Nichi wa Sayounara” (今日の日はさようなら; Today is the Farewell Day) and “Tsubasa wo Kusadai” (翼をください; Give Me Wings). The singer is undecided but maybe it’s Megumi Hayashibara.

Well, it didn’t reveal that they will sing as their characters or not since both Sakamoto and Hayashibara has important roles in the next movie (Rei and the new girl). But it’s still a good news for them. CD releases are undecided.
